How do businesses grow?
McKinsey and McKinsey recently released a new paper on How growth champions create new value. This paper is essentially about creating value propositions.
They talked about three different approaches. The first was an investor type. This is looking at new categories, segments and markets to add value too. Next is the creator which looks at new products and services. The last is the performer that looks at new business models.
So when you are planning your next year's growth strategies it might be useful to use one of these models.
