Email Marketing - The right one for you

Emai Marketing is an effective marketing tool no question, but selecting the right e-marketing software is big delimma for many small businesses. Here is my take on the top email software used for SMB.

Based in Australia, they allow you to send to multiple clients (with client logins for metrics), which is helpful for agencies. Have an autoresponder, templates and good customization. Allow single opt-in, but manually review blasts to lists of 1,000 and above.

Popular option in the U.S. and is used by mom and pops up to big companies. Strong deliverability, but double-opt in is required.

Advanced platform used by strong brands and big companies. Good deliverability and lots of reporting, but it's expensive.

Flexible pricing and lots of features from a popular ESP that targets small to midsize companies.

Relatively easy-to-use provider who also integrates with salesforce.com, allowing you to send emails directly from your CRM.

Affordable and easy-to-use platform that's inexpensive. Claim high deliverability rates, but deliverability is typically an issue with lower-cost providers.

ESP focused on small businesses. Affordable but lacks customization, as you can't load your own custom HTML templates.

  • Benchmail Like this new player. Affordable and friendly interface. Has all the basic needs met

Another new player/ Good functionality and pop ups/

Open and flexible platform for companies with sophisticated email requirements.

This is okay if you have Zoho CRM but limited design and segmentation options.

I use Mailchimp and Bloomtools (this is the email integrated into my website)
