MacInnis Marketing was started in 2006 when with the support of her husband Mark, Danielle MacInnis decided not to go back to the corporate giants she had been working for and began her own business after her son Lachlan was born. This was a difficult decision after working for Hewlett Packard for over eight years as a senior product manager, but the challenge of starting a small business and balancing work-life was one that Danielle wanted to take head on.
By starting a small business from scratch and having 15 years of experience working for large companies, Danielle has developed some specialised skills as a marketing consultant. Being able to see how important the strategy and big picture is, whilst balancing this with real actionable practical plans. Marketing is all about creating customers that know, like and trust you. To do this you really have to take the time to understand your customers and their needs, show them empathy and the rest will fall into place.

Make no mistake, we would love to work with you, but we like you choose our partners very carefully.
1.There needs to be a good business proposition for both of us. It has to be a win-win. A win-win for us is when we can provide the service you need and want and do it with your enthusiasm and support and prompt payment. A win for you should be having a marketing resource that is an expert that continually improves the growth and business strategy and does so at an affordable cost.
2. We have limited resources and choose to have a few clients where we provide an end to end service of a marketing department usually over an extended period of time or until such time when we can train up an alternative resource.
3. We choose only to work with the owner or CEO of the business. We do this for two reasons. 1. The decisions about marketing are an integral part of the business plan and so we need these decisions to be made by management. 2. The brand and values that the business hold often are embedded in the owner's vision and personality.

Danielle is a recognised CPM (certified practicing marketer) as part of the Australian Marketing Institute and has been certified as a professional in Inbound Marketing.
